1.1 Eternity and Creation
Before the beginning, God existed. He existed in relationship, as The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Together, they existed in the unending and perfect harmony of Love. This Love makes of them One God, who is and forever will be, full and complete in himself.
In Eternity, God was the only one who benefited from the Love which flows from The Father, to The Son, through The Holy Spirit, and back to The Father, from The Son, through The Holy Spirit. God imagined that this Love could be shared with others. This partaking in the Love of God would be for the other’s benefit, but it would bring no benefit to God himself. Since the Love of God never seeks for its own good, but always seeks the good of the other, creating others to share in it would be a perfect expression of this Love. Through the act of creation God could personify the eternal Love that flows between The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. By God’s creative action, his Love could be made manifest and given Life.
So that the Love of God could be given Life, God made Creation. Creation has a beginning and it is separate from Eternity. This separation between Eternity and Creation provides an opportunity for Creation to be united to Eternity and God’s Love to return to The Father through God’s created children: Humanity. By passing through this divide Humanity could grow to become equal to God and take a place within the Trinity as Co-Heirs of The Son. Thus the infinite Love of God would unceasingly be poured out upon Creation and the Trinity would become the Infinity.
